Once again our volunteers worked hard and made such a difference. Working along side some of the Crieff staff, the area to tackle this morning was around Maclean Hall. Before replanting there needed to be much cutting back and removing. The morning began as a cooler day but soon the sun made for another hot and dry day. With laugher, visiting and dreaming we finished with our gathering lunch. Thank you for spending your time and energy on the Crieff gardens this morning.
Please consider joining us for one of our next Volunteer Gardening mornings which are set for Wednesday August 10th and Wednesday September 14th from 9:00 until noon. If you are able to stay a little longer, please join us for lunch.
Volunteer gardeners are eagerly welcomed to Crieff and no experience is necessary. To help with our planning, if you would like to be part of these mornings please call the Crieff office (1.800.884.1525).
Crieff is looking for gifts of perennials. If you are thinning some of your plants and are able to drop them at Crieff, we have a home for them. Plants that are on our dream list are:
- False Lamiam - all colours
- Golden Glow
- Asiatic Lily
- Siberian Bugloss
- Day Lilies (please no lemon, orange or tiger)
