General Information

Come for the day ... or to stay

Crieff Hills is 250 acres of rolling hills and quiet forests set apart for use by individuals, families, congregations, businesses, schools and agencies.

This historic property was once the country home of Col John B. Maclean, the founder of Maclean Hunter publishing. The buildings are restricted to 50 acres with the balance of the property open for walking, hiking and includes a high ropes adventure course.

Many things to many people

The facility has operated as a Retreat and Conference Centre since 1975 making use of the century buildings including the 1874 School House, an 1832 Log House and a 1976 Field Stone Milk House.  The addition since 1975 of Lodges with semi private rooms and ensuite washrooms, a large Conference Hall with multiple meeting spaces and the recent addition of Personal Retreat Suites ensure that there is space for most any purpose.

Dining in Maclean Hall, the one room school house is a highlight for many visitors to Crieff Hills ... the Retreat and Conference Centre of Choice.
