Saturday Scavenger Hunts

Celebrate autumn with a fun, self-guided journey along our roads and trails. Receive a map, instructions and your first clue when you check in at the schoolhouse, and then head out on foot. At each station you will find an activity, meet our animals, or learn the history behind some of our favourite buildings. The whole course will take just over an hour and a half, depending on how quickly you travel. A short course is available if your group includes young children or you wish to limit your travel distance.

Cost: The registration fee is $10 per person and will give you access to our whole property from 10am to 3pm. A private bathroom will be provided for your exclusive use during your stay.

Evening Bonfires (Thursday to Saturday)

Nights are getting cooler—and that’s perfect for roasting marshmallows over a blazing bonfire! We have private picnic areas set up for you around the property with plenty of outdoor green space where you can easily practice social distancing. Each one is equipped with a fire pit, picnic table, and access to a clean bathroom for your exclusive use. We even provide a s’mores kit with marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate! Please book early--space is limited.

Cost: The registration fee is $10 per person, and will give you access to a large, clean, well-equipped space from 2pm to 8pm, a bonfire site, s’mores and lots of firewood.

Scavenger Hunt: Halloween Edition

On October 31, dress up and bring the kids for a romp around our property! Receive a map, instructions and your first clue when you check in at the schoolhouse, and then get started. Follow the clues to the spooky forest, the old barn and the hay bale photo spot. Before you go, pick up some Crieff Hills honey or fresh baking at our Halloween farm stand.

Cost: The registration fee is $10 per person and will give you access to our whole property from 10am to 3pm. A private bathroom will be provided for your exclusive use all day. Peanut free treats are included.

Ordering and Payment: Click on the Order Now button below. The safest method of payment is sending an e-transfer to [email protected] If this is not possible for you, please indicate this in your order and we can arrange credit card payment. Email is the best way to reach us.

How many guests are allowed? The number of guests in each group is determined by the provincial health authorities. Right now this means one household, or ten people who properly practice social distancing.

What should I bring with me? You may wish to bring lawn chairs or blankets, bug spray, a frisbee, ball or outdoor games, and a first aid kit/hand sanitizer. Be sure to dress for the weather and don’t forget drinks and sturdy footwear.

Barrier free locations: One drive-in space is available with access to a barrier free restroom (Pines).

Can I use the trails? Orange, yellow or green trails may be reserved ahead of time at no extra cost. The red trail remains closed at all times due to tree safety concerns.

Can I use the labyrinth? Yes. As a shared space, please keep the area quiet and maintain social distancing.

Can I bring alcohol? Sorry, alcohol is not permitted in our public spaces.
