We are accepting job applications for summer 2021

This year we have a number of positions available for those 18-30 yrs thanks to the Canada Summer jobs program.

 

Seasonal Farm Worker (1 required)

Work includes:

Assisting in the creation of new permaculture area (raised composting beds)

Planting, maintaining and harvesting produce

Assist in maintaining beehives and honey production when required

Assist in care of livestock (chicken, quail, sheep)

 

General Labour: Landcaping (2 required) 

Work includes:

Grass cutting and trimming

Maintain flower beds and foundation plantings around retreat buildings

Removal of invasive species

Assist in hiking trail maintenance

*must have safety boots

 

General Labour (1 required)

Interior painting (walls, trim)

Furniture painting and repair

Basic indoor maintenance (change light bulbs, etc)

Assist with minor building repairs and improvements

Assist with moving furniture and equipment

Assist with event set up and clean up

 

Information for all positions

Start date: Immediate

End date: Minimum employment period is 7 weeks from your start date. Possible contract extension.

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Hours per week: 40 hours

Work location: 7098 Concession 1 Puslinch ON (onsite housing may be available)
